Diversity at Calvin

So, Calvin is working towards diversity. We aren't there yet, but as a college we are pro-actively and intentionally multi-culturalising the campus.

For you new students of color, Calvin can be overwhelming. I mean, you are now in college! But Calvin is also very Dutch and mostly white. I encourage you to embrace Calvin culture, and challenge our pace in moving towards cultural integration.

I know that Calvin is not perfect (though it may seem so), and that college is a difficult transition, but your strengths can change and shape this college. Bring your strengths and mesh them with the Calvin culture, and I assure you that this college will therefore be better because YOU were here.
