Hey blog-readers!
We've been in the office full time for exactly a week now, and we are racking our brains and scratching our heads as we are working on making this year's PASSPORT and QUEST experiences even better than last year's (take that Orientation 2008).
As of now, Calvin has not been swayed, but persevere I shall, and surely the college will see that a ferris wheel over the East Beltline is a sure way to raise enrollment. If the college asks what we would do about housing the new "ferris wheel generation," I will propose that we maintain the circus theme and pitch an enormous maroon and gold circus tent next to the Devos Communication Center to house the new students.
Check out the map at http://www.calvin.edu/map/ to get an idea of what this would look like, and if you support my proposal, send an email to hjh9@students.calvin.edu and I will use your comments to back my proposal and convey to the college the need for a ferris wheel
